Team viewed the George Washington Memorial Chapel Our last supper together. We are having meat lasagna, vegetable lasagna, green beans, corn, Italian bread and romaine lettuce salad. The students had a blast today We had our final session this evening in which we spoke "words of life" to each of the people on the trip. Each person had an opportunity to sit in a chair in the middle of the circle and turned to receive an encouraging word from each member of the mission team. To say that it was powerful would be a tremendous understatement. Many tears were shed and hugs given and received as I truly saw the body of Christ come alive as each person felt the love of Christ shared through His people as they received words of up building and edification from one another. God was truly present tonight! Wow God! The evening session was unbelievable! It was 3 1/2 hours and flew by like it took only a hour. God moved mightily! Tell you about it more when I get back! Thanks for your prayers!!!😇 Off to the liberty bell, constitution hall and the Ben Franklin Museum tomorrow... Mission Team at Valley Forge. Emily in one of the buildings the soldiers stayed in Starkdale youth leader and Revolutionary War expert gave a fascinating history lesson to the Mission team. We've been blessed to be a blessing to others! Finishing up painting at the caring Place community center This is where we have been doing the VBS program and painting/organizing this week. It is a wonderful organization that is having a great impact here in Allentown PA. Go to www.acaringplace.org for more info   Here is a quilt made by the K-2 VBS children which was put together. We are donating it to the Caring Place Center.   Celebratory supper at Ci' Ci's Pizza after completing our VBS program for the week John 14: 1 Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.All I can say was the devil did his best but he failed…When we started the concert the electricity did not work for the bass so she had to play acoustically and all the people that said they were showing up could not attend so the students that would attend could not get through to attend the concert. So we ended up playing to just our group for about 35 minutes. Then my guitar string broke and I just kept playing anyway. Then just as we were packing up... 30 kids showed up so we pulled the chairs back out played another 20 minutes and I got to preach the gospel in the open air plaza area right near the street busy street. Two teenage girls raised their hands receive Christ as Savior and we prayed with them to come to know the Lord. It was awesome! We are also having them follow up with Mary who leads the Caring Place ministry so they won't be left without being disciple. I believe all of your prayers definitely helped so thank you so much!
