General Rules: Ages: 10-23 (bands/choirs/soloists can have people over age 23 accompanying/backing the vocalists/musicians but only the vocalists/musicians ages 10-23 will be judged in the competition) Residence: Contestants must live within 40 miles of Steubenville OH. Categories: a.) Bands/Vocal Groups b.) Choirs c.) Soloists d.) Miscellaneous (non-vocal) talent Song Content: Songs must have inspirational/Christian content. Since this is a competition sponsored by the Valley Youth Workers Network which has the goal of uplifting the hearts and minds of our youth as they use their gifts to reflect God's creative gifts in their lives we ask that you please submit the lyrics to your song along with your entry. The screening committee composed of Valley Youth Workers Members will have the final say on what is appropriate for the competition. Deadline: Songs must be submitted via YouTube, CD, e-mail link, video or audio tape The songs/performance must be five minutes or less. Contestants/acts chosen to perform will be informed on or before Nov. 4th.
